The Challenge
Launch Skechers’ Full Court Press silhouette in a way that built cultural relevance — not just product awareness.
We needed an organic social-first narrative that connected performance tech to athlete identity.
The Insight
For modern athletes (especially within women’s basketball) pressure isn’t something to overcome. It’s something you create. In a sports culture increasingly driven by personal style, identity, and off-court presence, confidence has become as important as performance. Today’s fans don’t connect to stats. They connect to attitude.
The Strategy
Reframe pressure from obstacle to advantage through an athlete-led narrative platform: I Am The Pressure. Positioning the Full Court Press as a tool for athletes who define the moment — not react to it.
The Execution
Developed a phased social rollout designed to move audiences from intrigue → identity → adoption:
Social acted as the primary launch engine — mapping content drops across teaser moments, game-day relevance, product education and lifestyle positioning to maintain visibility between June production and October colorway releases.
