The Challenge

Show up at SXSW — one of the most saturated brand environments in culture — in a way that didn’t just attract attention, but created meaningful engagement.

Los Cabos needed to position itself as a leader in wellness, sustainability, and modern travel while standing out among 57,000+ attendees in a high-noise environment.


The Insight

The most effective SXSW activations don’t just tell you something, they give you something
to do.

In a space driven by curiosity, creativity, and discovery, audiences are drawn to experiences that feel:

  • interactive

  • participatory

  • and shareable in real time

At the same time, modern travelers increasingly define wellness not just as personal escape —
but as leaving a positive impact.

Turn sustainability into something people can physically participate in.

We reframed Los Cabos’ wellness positioning from passive messaging into an interactive behavior, creating an experience where attendees could contribute to the story — not just observe it.

Los Cabos transformed from a destination being marketed —
to a story being co-created in real time.

The activation drove engagement through participation, positioning the brand at the intersection of wellness, sustainability, and cultural relevance within one of the most competitive environments in the world.

My Role

Led creative strategy and experiential concept development — translating brand positioning into an interactive activation and social ecosystem designed to drive participation, engagement, and real-time content creation.
